Angelique Barreto MD., MSc, ABAARM is the founder and researcher of Arthrokinex JointIRAP therapy. Dr. Barreto is a professional member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine as well as the American Academy of Family Practice. She is triple Board Certified in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine and has 25 years of medical experience. Dr. Barreto has been the Primary Investigator on several national and international medical research trials in arthritis. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Cytokine and Journal of Orthopedics. Dr. Barreto applies a balanced approach in her practice, incorporating both traditional medicine and evidence–based safe, alternative therapies where appropriate.
Alayna started working in the medical field at the age of 19 and as she says, "I continue to fall more in love with it daily. It is my passion to help others and spread kindness anywhere I can." She attended The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City Community College. She currently resides in Norman, Oklahoma.
Anna has been with Arthrokinex since 2015. She has a bachelors degree in business and has worked in the medical field for over 15 years. She has done it all, from phlebotomist to medical assistant, and then office manager.
She currently resides in Oklahoma with her three children.
Brenna went to school in California to be a medical assistant. She has since found a home in Oklahoma. She is also excited about the work she gets to do at Arthrokinex. She currently resides in Oklahoma with her boyfriend and her their three dogs.
Jennifer has been with Arthrokinex since 2016. She has worked in the medical field for four years. Jennifer is excited by the work she does for Arthrokinex, "I value every patient and their success with our program. I strive for excellence in everything I do, and I am very passionate about the work I do here at Arthrokinex."
Jennifer has been all over, she has lived in Texas, Japan, North Dakota and now Oklahoma where she plans to stay. She currently resides with her two daughters and her husband, who served in the United States Air Force for 16 years.
Mark Wells, PA-C
Mark received his Master’s of Health Science from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Medicine in December 2000. He also received his Bachelor’s of Biology from Central State University in 1997. He is certified as a Physician’s Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In addition to performing hundreds of joint injections for over 16 years, Mark has also gained experience in Orthopedic Spine Surgery, ER, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Hormone Replacement and Integrative Medicine.
